The Sunday River
The actual river where this fantastic area gets it's namesake flows down from the Mahoosuc mountain range and joins with the Androscoggin River just north of Bethel village - a few miles away from Great Brook Preserve. The lower seven miles of Sunday River is rocky and swift, containing class II-III rapids and is popular with white water rafters and canoers.
